What started as a childhood fascination with building websites has evolved into 15+ years of crafting digital experiences that matter.
From those early days tweaking graphics and rebuilding sites with every new trend, Daniel discovered his passion for the intersection of creativity, technology, and human impact.
Today he works as a design engineer: designing and building are the same activity for him — mostly in code, with AI, moving into design tools whenever the work calls for it. Whether co-founding fintech companies serving 400,000+ users or conducting field research in Brazilian favelas for Spotify, Daniel brings a blend of strategic thinking, design-to-code execution, and genuine care for the people using what he builds.
He's at home in React, React Native and TypeScript codebases — reading them, adjusting them, and turning design into working, production-quality front-end — and partners with engineers for the deep platform work. AI-assisted design and development is how he works day to day, not a side experiment.

Low poly flying game built in Unity 6. Fly between floating islands, deliver the mail, take on bosses and quests. Plays in the browser and as an app, with online co-op for 2–8 players and crossplay between web and app via Unity Relay (WebSockets).
Vara
Swedish-first event app: create an event in about a minute, share one link and gather everything in one place — guest list, date voting, a wall, a map and optional payments. Made for birthdays, clubs and groups of friends. The web app is live at vara.social, with an Expo-built iOS app on its way to the App Store. Next.js, React Native and Firebase.
Fjällvandring
Pixel-art hiking game that runs in the browser. Explore a seeded Nordic wilderness, gather wood and berries, fish, get a fire going, build a shelter and warm up in the sauna. Works on desktop and mobile with touch controls, and multiplayer is in open beta with 2–20 players, chat and shared building. Phaser 3, TypeScript and Firebase.
RentalOS
A self-hosted guest kiosk for short-term rentals, built for a wall-mounted Raspberry Pi touch screen. Guests get a house guide, local tips on a map, a guestbook and an AI concierge; cleaners get a hidden checklist flow with photo upload; the host runs it all from a built-in admin. No cloud, no monthly fee, open source under MIT. Born out of seven years of hosting on Airbnb.

UGC campaign platform where brands launch TikTok campaigns and creators apply, film and publish. Two surfaces: a brand portal at likelab.io and a creator app for iOS, Android and web, built with Expo and Supabase. Design and development across both — from a UX audit of the app to shipping an AI campaign composer and brand–creator chat.
